Portraits are where photography first started for me. I worked on my high school’s yearbook, so I was always snapping pictures whenever I could get my hands on a camera. My love for photographing people and telling their stories began here. For a long time, all I did was take portraits. I would take pictures of friends as we were hanging out, or organize mini photoshoots for us to do. It was a blast, and I strongly believe that because I began photographing people in such a fun and laid back environment, I was really able to develop my skills and creativity without pressure.
